Our History...

Tom Zimmermann opened his first salon in 1984 under the name Loft Design for hair and skin care. The salon was open in a small building on a side street but, it seemed to take off as did Tom's clientele.

After several years Tom moved to a much larger salon, and several hair dressers from another came under the new name of Tommy Z's for Hair. Tommy Z's remained in this location for 12 years until new ownership of the building by MetroLink forced Tom to move again.

In the long run, this move was the best thing that could have happened. After several months of negotiations, zoning changes, architects, etc. the new Tommy Z's was built in its current location in 2002.

Tommy Z's now employs a total of 8 hair stylists (cosmetologists), several receptionists and houses a full day spa with an additional 8 employees.

Today, Tommy Z's is a bustling hair salon with an open and friendly atmosphere.

A full menu of hair care services is provided by a professional and courteous staff of stylists that welcome clients from all walks of life.
